The first man who greeted us was incredibly friendly! He made us feel so welcomed! The other workers were less friendly. The breakfast cost was pretty high for a family of 6. We ate breakfast one morning, and the food was very nice with a good variety. But the floor was incredibly sticky. Our rooms were very nice and we were SO happy to be next to each other. (2 parents and 4 kids, so it was helpful to be next door rooms.) The only bad thing about the room was that our bathroom (maybe 304?) was very smelly. It seems that the shower drain did not seal, so it seemed as if sewer smells were coming up into the bathroom. It was not pleasant. Also, the door of the shower could have been cleaned more around the edges. It had a lot of mildew which I wiped off myself.

The hotel is located in the old city and still relatively close to the train station nad bus services. I attended a conference at C.A.R.L. in Aachen, and this location was the best possible fit between the train station, the conference venue, and the downtown. Everything was reachable on foot, but I could still take a bus for a couple of stops to make it easier. In my case, the hotel was great value for money: about 70Euro per night. I was positively surprised by the size of the room and the quality of the furniture/bathroom. Everything was decent and didn't look cheap. The internet was good, the sound isolation was OK. Overall, I had a great stay

A very simple but clean hotel, with helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money if you're not looking for "The Ritz". The rooms are small but clean and also very calm. We didn't hear a beep from rooms next door. The staff was also very helpful as we changed the room to overlook the other side of the property, and as we also decided to take a second room in the middle of our stay to give ourselves some more space. The location is very good to visit the historical centre of Aachen, just a 5-minute walk. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. But all in all: simple, friendly, clean, functional and very well located!

Excellent service as usual ( we have already stayed 3 or 4 times in this hotel and hope to come back); very nice staff at reception, very polite and helpful. We received an early check-in which was highly appreciated. Excellent contact on the phone as well before our arrival. Rooms were very clean and serviced every day. The hotel is situated in the centre of Aachen at a walking distance to the train station, the bus terminal, shops, restaurant and bars. The famous Thermes of Aachen (spa complex) are situated at a walking distance as well. Good price /quality ratio. I would highly recommend the place.

Amazing location right in the centre. Everything you'll want to visit is within walking distance from the hotel. We had a triple room and it was way more spacious than I thought it would be! Very nice and clean bathroom and bedding. Really above my expectations especially for the price. Also, we only learned afterwards but online/remote check-in is available so look into that.
